We were pleasantly surprised by the beautifully decorated cottage and its well-equipped amenities. The owner, Caroline, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The location was ideal for visiting family and exploring the North Yorkshire Moors. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and Christmas chocolates upon arrival. The bus service to nearby Richmond was convenient, allowing us to easily enjoy drinks in town. Although the mattress in the main bedroom was a bit hard for my wife, overall, we had a wonderful time at Farthings Villa. I highly recommend this homely retreat, especially for those seeking a cozy and scenic getaway in North Yorkshire. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at a cozy cottage in an ideal location for visiting family. Caroline, the owner, greeted us warmly and the cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of a welcome basket and the provided tea, coffee, and milk. The cottage itself was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and good amenities in the kitchen. The nearby parking was a minor inconvenience, but overall, we had a delightful time. We would definitely book again and highly recommend this exceptional property.

We had a fantastic stay at The Farthings in North Yorkshire. The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean, and cosy. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and was just minutes away from the A1. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome basket with delicious treats like fruit loaf and jam. The fast WiFi and well-equipped kitchen were also great amenities. Caroline, our host, was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We can't wait to come back!

We got excellent value for our money at Farthings Villa. The room was cozy and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and a fully-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, being in a lovely village with easy access to the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. The staff, especially Caroline, were friendly and helpful, even arranging for a delicious birthday cake surprise for my partner.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.
